Workouts with Dumbbells & Its Types

Dumbbells are great tools to have in your workout training. They allow for a lot of variety with your workouts. A flat bench dumbbell tends to be more elbows and shoulder friendly because you can have natural movement because your hands are not fixed in place as you can turn or rotate them as you press.

If you are doing a reverse lunge workout with Dumbbell and lose your balance, you can easily toss the dumbbell. Dumbbells are weights that come in pairs for workouts and they are fit for each hand. Most have preset weights on each end that are non-adjustable. They can be found in almost every gym.

There are currently three main types of dumbbell:

Adjustable dumbbell consists of a metal bar whose center portion is often engraved with a crosshatch pattern to improve grip.

The Fixed - weight dumbbell is weights created in a dumbbell shape. Complete gyms offer you all types of dumbbell, gym balls, and exercise mats etc.

Selectorized dumbbell is adjustable dumbbells whose number of plates can be easily changed when resting on the dumbbell stand. This is achieved by adjusting the number of plates that follow the handle when lifted.
